Joe Grand to Guest Judge at West Point’s Projects Day

Joe Grand will be participating as a guest judge in the United States Military Academy at West Point’s Projects Day for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) to be held on May 3, 2012. The purpose of the EECS Projects Day is for senior cadets to present the results of their year-long capstone projects. Joe, along with a panel of other judges, will assess the projects and assist in determining prizes. [ continue ]

MakerBot is a provider of open-source, consumer-grade 3D printers that allow users to print nearly anything they can imagine. Since November 2010, Joe has been assisting in the review of MakerBot’s electrical engineering designs and providing general guidance and recommendations for the product’s development and manufacturing processes.
