Pizza Compass
Have you ever wanted to find pizza no matter where you are in the world? With the push of a button, the Pizza Compass will determine your location and direct you to the nearest pizza place. It’s like a regular compass, but better!
The design is based on a Particle Boron LTE CAT-M1 (ARM Cortex-M4F) module, GlobalTop PA6H GPS, ST Microelectronics LSM303DLHC e-Compass, and eight NeoPixel RGB LEDs. It is powered by a 400mAh rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery.
The software includes Particle-NeoPixel for LED control, lsm303-arduino for e-Compass integration, and TinyGPS++ for GPS parsing and distance/course calculations. Webhooks are used to communicate with the Google Maps Places API.
